This Radio was picked up at a garage sale. It has the Steampunk look. Not bad for a production set. The radio is basically a crystal radio where the detector is an early vacuum tube. The plan is to restore the radio to working condition and sell it to finance more steampunk projects.
This close-up shows controls and connection points. The radio needs a power supply for the filament, the "A" supply and the plate, "B" Supply. The tuning is accomplished with a variable capacitor and a tapped antenna coil.

This came with the radio. It is the box that the tube came in. Also inside the box was a flyer from a grocery store in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. The flyer was a promotion for the store/ gas station where you could sign up to win the radio.
This is a photo of the flyer. It is not very readable in this format. I have a copy in pdf that looks a lot better.
